And now Drayous stood tall upon the hill. He reared, calling for the one he had chosen to lead upon these lands. And so the beautiful white vixen Athena came up to him. Hello m'angel. Welcome to your home. He swept his visage over the landscape that were able to be viewed from their mountain viewside. He smiled as she gasped in wonder.
He tossed his mane, tired of standing still. He nickered to Athena. Let us go m'love, and enjoy the moments of daylight. Athena nodded in agreement, and whinnyed out her calls joyously. But before Drayous turned, he cried aloud to all. Hear all, for this fae is your Queen! Here she stands, and here she shall stay for all time... Now he reared, and nickered to his mate. They both shot off like arrows released from taunt bows.
But they weren't alone. From behind the bushes a chestnut bodice emerged. The stallion smiled, and walked to the viewpoint Drayous had just stood upon. He sniffed the earth, breathing in his scent. And so I find you, my brother. He looked upon the clouds, and his eyes traced a bird soaring in the sky. After so long... Be ready Drayous. Amalfi is here. He reared, and thundered off to the opposite direction, letting his call be heard all around.
